About Our Company

Pridgen Homes, custom home builders work directly with the customer, rather than going through a barrage of supervisors, contractors and subcontractors. Less people involved with the process means less overhead, which turns into lower prices for the home owner.

In addition to the home builders knowledge obtained from his father, Jaime Pridgen took design, drafting, wood working, engineering and business classes. He also worked in the land title business and learned about closings and appraisals. When other son Jody worked at Home Depot as a department manager, he missed working with his father and decided to return to Pridgen Homes where he has been working full time for over nine years.

Green building is important to our company. We strive to protect the environment and be energy efficient. Our owner, Ron Pridgen had five grandchildren and cares about the environment in which they will grow up in. Part of being “green” custom home builders is ensuring that your home is energy efficient, while being built within your desire and budget.

The Pridgens are involved in the community of Gainesville, Florida through their churches. Jaime works with the children’s classes and reaches out to the homeless. Ron is in charge of the grounds department while Jody works in the sound booth at his church while helping his father in the grounds department.
